Five reels of 8mm film from a driving trip around California in 1956. In the car were Dorothy C. Fastie and Robert L. Fastie, their mother Carrie S. Fastie, and Bob’s wife Marjorie Watts Fastie. It appears that Dot did almost all of the filming. The 30 minute video includes about 22 minutes of film footage with the order and duration of scenes mostly unchanged from the original. Sit back, watch full screen, use good speakers or headphones, and imagine what they talked about, and what they didn’t.
